Three members of the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology were among the
honorees recognized for their years of service, commitment to the institution, and
significant contributions to the Academic Medical Enterprise at the Bicentennial
Excellence Awards event, Jan. 18.
Rosie Salomon was awarded the 5th PA Anatomy Slaby Award on October 3, 2023 for her performance in Anatomy while providing support to her peers in helping them succeed in Anatomy.
Since 2016 Dr. Sally Moody has served as Chair of Anatomy and Cell Biology (A&CB) during
which she focused her efforts on four fundamental pillars fundamental to maximize the
productivity of the A&CB department at the administrative, teaching, research, and outreach
stratifications.
The George Washington University community turned out in person and online for “Raise High for Social Justice: GW Supporting the Women of Iran,” a discussion of the roles that women have played and continue to play in the evolution of that country.
