The Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology was highly recognized at the 2025 Bicentennial Faculty and Staff Recognition Event organized by the GW Academic Medical Center and held on March 27th at the Jack Morton Auditorium of the GW Media and Public Affairs Building.

Maho Shibata, PhD received the Early Career Basic Scientist Research Achievement Award from Dr. Alisson Hall, Senior Associate Dean for Research of the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Siobhán Hanna received the Staff Excellence Award from Dean Barbara Bass of the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
